ARTISTS

Owner & Artistic Director

Sergio Delgado

Sergio began his career in 2007, and under the mentorship of a Paul Mitchell National Educator in New Hope he was fortunate to learn directly from the very best stylists Paul Mitchell had to offer.

Developing his craft with the guidance of these industry leaders, Sergio was quickly chosen to join his mentors as a Paul Mitchell National Educator himself.

After 10 years of travelling all over the country teaching advanced hair-color, precision haircutting and intensive product knowledge, he was ready to lead his own team.

Sergio opened Salon Masaya in 2015 and his mission is to provide the best customer experience and to create “tailored hairstyles” to fit each client’s identity and vision.

Working behind the chair and creating unique looks for his clients is his passion.

Having the ability to “take his clients through the seasons” by consistently innovating haircuts and colors, is how he provides his clients with endless style options for every season.

MASTERSTYLIST

Jonathan Delgado

Jonathan has been a stylist since 2010, and after honing his craft in NJ he relocated to Philadelphia and joined Salon Masaya in 2017.

Under the guidance of Sergio, he was able to perfect his craft and confidently express himself through precision haircutting and dimensional hair color.

Jonathans deep appreciation for the science of hair, has led him to become a blonding and color correction expert.

And with a passion for creating a more “informed consumer” Jonathan educates his clients by providing a deeper understanding of their hair and assigning the best routines and products for each client.

He believes everyone begins with a unique canvas and strives to provide the healthiest/safest path to achieving their hair goals.

APPRENTICE

Rylee Kanagie

Rylee is currently an apprentice whose fascination with hair and makeup blossomed early in life. Her childhood was filled with playful experiments on her mother’s hair and avidly watching influencer tutorials.

After graduating from high school, she was eager to begin her career in hair, and completed the cosmetology program at Jean Madeline in 2022.

Rylee’s love for hair grew even further by the chemical theories that underlie the craft of hairstyling. For Rylee, the driving force behind her passion lies in the happiness her work brings – the power to make people feel good about themselves. Looking ahead, she aspires to one day own a salon and launch a product line.
